Prepare to EAT+DO GOOD to fight the suicide crisis in our indigenous communities.
Lawrence restaurant is opening on their night off to help us DOsomething! WeDoSomething Montreal has partnered with Dialogue For Life, an indigenous-run organization that organizes a 6-day conference every year to train and support those who fight suicide in these communities, and offers workshops and support to friends and family who need to grieve those they've lost. Your ticket and donations (yes there is a pure donation button if you cannot attend) will buy you dinner, and will help pay the travel and accommodation expenses of indigenous youth from affected communities, so that they can fly into and stay in Montreal during the conference (flights cost between $1500-$2300, accommodation is $1500 and food $500, per person).
Expect excellent cocktails and beautiful music from some very beautiful indigenous artists. And as always, bring cash for our fun-raising raffle prizes! Space is limited.
